How it works
- Based on the WS2814F chip
- Extracts the data for a single digital LED/pixel and converts it to PWM output
- Acts like a single digitally addressable LED, driving dumb-style RGBW strips
- Boards can be daisy-chained, each acting as its own pixel — up to 400 on a single data connection
- 4 individual PWM channels per board, up to RGBW
Common use cases
- Run high-quality white analog/dumb LED strips (CRI95) without an extra controller
- Drive much higher-brightness analog/dumb strips
- Hybrid staircase installs — unlimited steps, each individually RGBW controllable
- Place the PWM dimming near the strip when it's far from the controller — send the data signal there instead
- Need lots of channels? Chain up to 400 boards on a single data connection
